CooEE-ECo Handmade
After 3 1/2 years and 11 visits to Cambodia, assisting with the set up of C.V. Dynamic Tours Cambodia. We realized we could help a little more. Our vision is to help men and women earn a fair wage, while allowing them to make their own life choices.
Cooee-Eco Handmade started in April 2008 with the purchase of 3 old sewing machines. The people you see in the photos are the people that assist with the Cooee-Eco Handmade products and are an integral part in making this vision possible in Cambodia.
We wanted to create environmentally friendly products that are unique, while utilising the Khmers incredible talents and the countries natural resources. As a result a small product line was developed with the first items being produced in March 2009.
We are now able to employ people from different occupations, such as stonemasons, seamstresses, builders, artists, drivers and tour guides.
Our goal at Cooee-eco is simple, to provide you with choices that will make a difference - a positive difference. We want to help people that want to help themselves, and for us to continue to learn, guide, and grow. We wish to lend our support to the growing awareness that will hopefully lead to a change of direction for our world.
